460 swaps

[bronco for me]

i have a 80 bronco with a 302 and a 460 block.i need to know if my tranny in the bronco will bolt to my 460.i know that i will need different mounts.

THe bolt pattern on the bellhousing of the transmissions for the smallblock V8 302 and 351W motors is different from that of the 460 big block. Try to find a donor tranny that was mated to a 460. In other words, the C-6 from my 84 Bronco with the 351W will not fit the 460 from my 88 F-350. So I am using the C-6 from the 88 F-350 with the 460 motor to swap into my 84 Bronco.
