Fellow Bronco-neers, just looking to get some insight in regards to a 460. I'm interested in swapping my 351W FI for a 460 but wasnt sure of the big pros between fuel injected and carburated. Would appreciate any feedback from guys who are already running either/or. Can't decide whether to upgrade or just modify what I have already. Can never go wrong with more power though. Again, any feedback would be appreciated. Thx in advance fellas.

A 460 is considerably heavier and will require a lot of beefing up of your suspension, and drive train or it will be breaking axles, drive shafs, etc. Also you will need to get the transmission and transfer case with it since the bolt pattern is different

. If it is in good shape, you would probably be better off spending your money on th existing engine. Just my opinion for what it is worth ;) /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" /> .

Good luck,

Yeah, i was thinking the same thing, just wasnt sure. I bought my toy a couple of months ago and wasnt sure how good the engine was taken care of so I wanted to start fresh, but rebuilding is just as good. Thanks for your input.
