4 High keeps popping out of gear.

While wheeling last Sunday I found that my transfer case kept popping from 4 hi to 2 hi while doing donuts in the mud and snow.

Does anyone have the same problem? What are the possible causes? It stays in 4 hi until it gets a little bouncy then it kicks out.

88, 5 speed manual, 2.9,floor shift 4x4. It seemed to happen when bouncing around. Will check ou the tranny mounts tonight though. Thanks /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

yes I have the same problem in my 84 b2 with 3" lift and a 4wd floor shift.
