33-12.5 on stock rims?

edit: or maybe NOT. After reading SeaBronc's post below, I'm thinking that I may not have stock wheels.

Yes it can be done, but it voids the tire warranty. 33's from all manufacturers are designed for 8.5 inch rims minimum. There is also the danger of popping the bead just when you don't need such a thing to happen. Should such a thing happen and the result is death or serious injury to someone else, you are on your own.

I have a '90 Eddie Bauer, and I thought that I had/have stock wheels.

However on my door panel it states the truck came with 31" tires and the wheels are 15x 7.5"

I just measured the ones I have on the truck; the measurement from inside on the bead is approx 8.5 - 9" SO I guess mine are not stock! :eek:
