1995 Eddie Bauer Cruise Troubles

Hello all, I just signed up for this site and I believe I can get the help I need here.

I have a '95 Eddie Bauer 4x4 with a 351W and I think an E4OD, it's still kinda new to me just got it a few months ago.

A problem I am having is the cruise control does not want to function. So far, I have checked the fuses and cannot find any that are open, both in the fuse panel under the dash or under the hood. What I have seen so far is an electronic actuator with a cable to the throttle body. I think there may be a problem with a relay but, I'm not very certain yet. Don't know which one it might be either but...

I have a Haynes manual for this truck but it doesn't go into very much detail for the cruise control so, I'd like some assistance if possible. The speedometer works just fine and is accurate, the horn does its thing when called and other than the cruise not engaging, I find no other problems with this vehicle.

I'll probably need some step by step guidance to figure this one out. I did find a link in another post about speed control troubleshooting and will use that information as well.

Check the cruise cancel switch too. It sits right on the brake master cylinder, by the reservior, costs like 10 bucks, and went bad so often FORD recalled 15 years worth of them. And yes, it is an E4OD. Welcome to the site by the way.
