Yeah its a 92 bronco
this is my first bronco with auto locking hubs.......how easy, or hard is it to convert them to manual locking hubs, and what is the "sensor" elimination procedure

not sure if it applies but one thing i ran into when i was swaping out my hubs was this warning message i kept finding anywhere that sold warn hubs.... it says When Replacing Automatic 3 Hole Cap ***** Hubs, You Must Purchase Corresponding Spindle Nut Conversion Kit. not sure if your model has that 3 hole cap deal but just food for thought.
That's what I went with. It went well. They don't turn as easy when engaging as the Mile Markers on my brothers Blazer but its not a bad thing just difference between brands.
It is not that the whole truck needs to move 10' to lock just the axles turning will do the trick to lock the hubs. The problem is when they are broken you do not know about it until you need them. Only need movement of the tires to unlock the hubs. The conversion is pretty easy. Manuals are more reliable than the auto hubs which seem to fail just when you need them. Most people go for the conversation because auto hubs won't engage if you are already stuck since they require approximately 10 ft. of forward or backward motion to engage or disengage.
Good luck,
