Alright, so in my other thread you guys saw some pics of my newly acquired bronco but sadly most were taken at night. So I managed to snap a few others (though sadly none from under the hood in daylight) while the sun was up. Should give you all a much better idea of what she looks like.

Took her for a ride the other day with my dad, she drives SUPER nice, I'm pretty sure I'm in love. I also found a friend of a friend who does body work on cars n stuff so I'm gonna see what kind of price he can give me and take a look at some of his other work. Thankfully she doesn't need much patching. Then I gotta find someone to give her a fresh coat of paint.

Oh, I also need to put a cd player and stuff in her, was just wondering how hard that is for a normal installation place to do given her age. I'm sure most of you guys have already done something similar so any heads up on that would be awesome.

Cheers.

yo!a DIY er isn't that diff for a cd player; look @ Brandon's info

more in my site under Audio, CD...

gl!
It is safe to say that I know NOTHING about vehicles. Or at least the bare minimum. I haven't even touched a car in like 6 years. It's pretty bad but that's what a budget of 0 dollars does. Now I find myself with an old vehicle that needs lots of attention so I'm pretty much gonna have to learn. I'm more of a hands on see it in front of my face kinda learner too. So many technical terms I'm starting to get lost. I don't need some crazy audio system. Just a cd player, maybe some new speakers a small amp and subwoofer. Nothing that's gonna run me like 3000 bucks or nothin. If I can do it myself that'd be awesome but Short of a step by step walkthrough (which I don't see even on you site unless i'm blind) I'm not sure how DIY it can be. I know people who are good for the bodywork and paintjob sadly not audio though..

She looks pretty good. If you are going to have a guy do the body work, you are probably talking to the same guy who can paint it.

Good luck,

:)>-

ok, take a closer look at the Link I posted for you; Brandon shows speaker types/sources, sizes, CD install tips, wiring info, etc.

Almost all audio stores on-line or locally have harness/mtg kits and instructions within for you to adapt a new radio or speakers, or the cd changer to your year... Crutchfield, for example has it all in nice packages.

Such as what Steve shows in his; CD/DVD/MP3 In-Dash & Review in an 84

and this Link in my site;

Radio removal/install for 80-86

Haha alright, those ones were much better, I must have missed something the first time around. This however does open up a whole slew of new problems for me though. Mainly because my dash looks NOTHING like the one in any of those pictures, in fact, it says RANGER on it. I always kinda found that odd but since I know most fords from similar years have mostly interchangeable parts i didn't think anything of it. Now however, I see that the dash in my truck, and the dash in peoples other trucks are very much different. Hmmm..
