Hello all!! Looks like a great site you have here with many many very nice rigs!.
My first truck was a 1979 Custom Bronco. I drove the wheels off that thing finally selling it with 196,000 miles on it. Well many years later and an itch to do a little MUD racing and I am once again a proud owner of a 1979 Bronco. I have never done anything like this and hope some of you guys have and are willing to share some secrets about lift kits, body lifts and all sorts of things that I am trying to figure out!
A little about the truck.
One of the previous owners had changed out the 351 with a 460 that currently does not run. When I finally opened up the bottom of the motor I found it had a broken connecting rod....
It has a Standard transmission that I am going to convert to automatic.
It has a 205 differential.
Dana 44 front end
9" rear with slip track and 3:5x (something gears)
Looking forward to hearing opinions and suggestions about such a great vehicle!!
