rear window switch

I got my new bronco today and I am haveing a problem with the switch that opens and closes the rear window. It usually can open it but when you go to close it it use to work it you use a ***** driver or some thing and push really ******* the buttom, then it might close. well not it wont close at all. I replaced all the fuses for it and it still wont work. is this a problem with the switch its self or what?

Well, it sounds like you have a bad switch. Call a junkyard because a new one is expensive.

If it was working because you were pushing on the left side, it is probably the safety switch in the left latch. Check the motor mounting bolts and see if it looks like the mount has slid toward the passenger side. If so, loosen them and slide it back toward the driver side. If that doesn't work, you can bypass that switch, which is the way most people fix it permanently.

what year is it?

i have a spare switch for a 92 and up laying around. It's somewhere in my storage unit and if you need one i can hook you up cheap
