Hello all from South Carolina. I am a previous Bronco owner, and now a new Bronco Owner. I currently have a 1995 EBxlt with a 6" rough country lift sitting on 35 inch yoko geo's and rolling in micky's. Heavily rigged by previous owner. I am still learning about this one. I am hoping to get most of the bugs worked out soon. Not sure if EGR is functional and for some reason I am getting fumes in the cab. My Battery keeps dying overnight. Any ideas? I installed fog lights that I have switched in cab, and a new dc power adapter straight from battery. Could this be the case? At any rate. I love this truck, and cant wait to get it all the way right.

Welcome to the Zone > . The fume problem is usually from old tail gate seals that don't quite make it any more. You may need new seals or just adjust the tailgate where it seats against the bottom seal. the dying overnight is probably a high resistance short in the wire harness where it rubs against some metal or something is on that you are not aware of. Put a 12V light between the ground lead and the post to see if it lights, (you will nead a socket with a couple of pigtails on it). By a DC power adapter do you mean an Inverter?

Good luck,

:)>-

Hmm, would have never guessed the seals on the tailgate. I looked at a whole new weather stripping kit, but my goodness its expensive. Its just an aux power adapter. ( cig lighter) so that I can charge my cell phone. if I lock the doors with the power door lock button and then try to get in my alarm goes off. I have loosened the hot leg to the Batt just eneough to be able to pull off quickly in the event that I forget this as I do not have a way to cut off the alarm.
