This is for my friends 89 full size bronco. Well since he isnt really good with tools he asked me if i could fix his window.

Ok the problem is that when the window wont roll up on the passenger side. it seems like it wants to catch but it wont. the motor works but i havent taken off the panel to see exactly whats wrong.

any help would be helpful.

thanx..

It is most likely the motor gears are stripped . OR the motor attachment bolts are loose . To replace the motor you need to drill a half inch hole where the dimples are in the door sheet metal.

You might also want to check the nylon bushings inside the motor. Replacing the motor is expencive but I found a repair kit on eBay that fixed this problem perfectly. It cost me under $10 for 2 kits and I fixed mine in about 1.5 hours from start to finish. A lot cheaper than up to $100 for a new motor.
