Here's a few photos of the bumper I made this weekend for the Bronco. They're just garage photos for now. Its mounted on top of the frame rails utilizing the 2" body lift gap between frame and body. Then wraps the frame rails and extends out to a 45 deg angle upwards connecting the works together. I also reinforced the flat area of the skid plate so rocks don't bend it inwards. Its beefy even with .188 (3/16") steel.

Still have to plate the bottom for more protection and decide what I'll do about the winch cable roller. Its to big looking for this low profile bumper. I was thinking of one of those flate plates style that are machined smooth for the cable to slide on. Has anyone used one of those before? Was wondering if they east up the cable over time.

Sweet bumper dude! Are you thinking about selling these or dropping the dimensions in the forum here? I think I remember how to weld. :glare:

I was thinking about selling some until I was finished. Took 2 full days to build and I'm still tired/sore. But it was sure fun! The neighbors must be happy with me by now. I know my wife is! :-" I only have a few pieces left to cut and weld in for kicks. I'm thinking of doing this to the rear but with 2x6 and cut the rear frame at a 45 deg angle so it all fits in snug. Using 2x8 up front (barley fit the winch inside) worked out well since it sticks out off the frame enough not to cut the frame.

I'll get some photos of the Bronco hanging off a rock wall or something when its done. :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
