Hey guys, justa quick tire question. I was told by one of our close friends who happens to be the manager at our Ford dealerships service shop, that I could find a better deal on tires the BFG. I orginally planned on getting BFG All Terrain but she suggested the Yokohama tires would do just as well for a lot cheap. Just wondering if anyone here has used them.

Thanks,

Boomballs

I think these are the Yokohamas she is suggesting. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?ti...mp;autoModClar=

They are good tires! I like Yokahama. Had them on my sedan car. They were my favorites. Unknown about truck performance though.. However, I've never heard anything bad about them, which in return is a good thing!

Also check out the Goodyear Duratrac tires.. I'm getting me a set of those. My father gets em at $5 over cost from goodyear (compnay has contract) so I'm going to give them a run for my money..though I've heard nothing but positive reviews from guys with jeeps and FJ yotas.

Walmart also sells the "exclusive" tire from goodyear that looks like the duratrac..but different name. They go for $130 at wally world, or the "duratrac" tires go for $160 IIRC.

BB,

I was surprised that our local Ford dealership had lower prices on the same tire that a mom & pop tire store has (we have boght from them for many years).
