My old money pit has been running for a while with little fault. It still leaks stuff like oil, coolant, and power steering fluid. My big concern is the power./ torque is doesn't have. I figured a 6 cylinder would have some umph. It feels like this thing wouldn't even be able to pass someone on the road if needed. I am guessing not all stock B2's are this wimpy?

I am willing to get the carb rebuilt by someone who knows what they are doing (unlike myself) and possibly checking the cat converter. Any other suggestions?

If you don't have an obvious problem, (like a miss) it is hard to know how well or poorly your engine is running unless you have the opportunity to drive another similar one. I didn't know how poorly ours was running until I fixed it.

You may want to start with giving her a decent tuneup... (including fuel and air filters, and cleaning of the carb)always money well spent. Followed by pulling diagnostic codes and correcting any issues that pulling codes pops up.

Here's a thread on how to pull codes, without a scanner.
