Won't Start

Actually my module went bad on me a few years back in the drive-through at a McDonalds, so I feel your pain. hehe
About to go and check out a few things, I'll let you guys know what I find.

Ok ,the fuel pump is working and you ARE getting gas to the motor. Now you are not getting power to the plugs---make a check list ---check all your ground wires and your electrical wires for connection---check the coil---- check the module ----check the distributor---to see if it is getting juice---if it is getting juice(power) next go to the plugs--are they getting power?----if not---check your distributor for a short-- and your distributor cap for a crack or a PENCIL LINE---(If you find a pencil line---clean it off make sure the rotor button is on -put the cap back on-------and it should fire up. Do this checking yourself--------someone could be tampering with your ride --to get it off you ----If you do what people has told you in this column-it will run----and MAKE SURE YOU PULL UP ON YOUR GEAR SHIFT------MABYE THE SAFETY SWITCH IS OUT OF ADJUSTMENT---GOOD LUCK

you can figure out if the ign mod is good or bad by testing the resistance. if i remember correctly in section 4 of the haynes manual it will tell you the specs that needed to be tested and how to do it. its real easy, i just had to do it with mine a couple weeks ago
