I have a 69 bronco and recently purchased a express panel from ron francis my question is if all my connections are right on the switch as far as power being where it should be in acc run start and what not. basiclly right as far as there directions state and the truck is not starting. Now if the only thing i do to make the truck start is bypass the the blue to the switch and go directly to the purple starter connection basiclly eliminating there panel and the truck starts right up wouldn't that mean there panels jacked up?

My question is if i left it like this what would be the downfall or potential risk? the only reason i would consider this is because there almost impossible to deal with either by phone or email ive contacted the owner when i told him the connections tested right on the switch he hasnt contacted me since been over a week and no answer on the tech line. or is there possibly something i could fix myself inside the panel?

This has been the worst company ive ever had to deal with when ive actually contacted there tech support i get a guy with the customer service skills of a water buffalo. the type that sounds like he just loves his job.

Any advice or tips are greatly appreciated for im getting getting bronchitis from this bronco being in the garage for 10 months.

It sounds like there might be a lose connection along the blue line. I'm not sure since I didn't see a manual online on their (really lousy) web site. If you still use the ignition to start even with the bypass, then you know it's not the switch - so it seems it would be the panel. Is there another empty slot you could go through, an extra space to try another line?

The only downside I could see is maybe shorting out your ignition switch if the voltage reg goes - but maybe not....

Good luck.

I'd call Ron Francis and talk to one of their techs. 866-330-1933. Sorry, didn't read you complete post. I'd email them and complain. They may not know that their tech is giving you a hard time.
