How do you remove the trim around the winsheld without damaging anything? I have a couple of winshield leaks and want to put silicon around the winshield under the trim to prevent rust

You need to get a trim removal tool and use it to hook onto the clips and pull them across the windshield and gently lift the trim.
I just used a small, flat-blade ***** driver to gently pry up on the trim pieces. Find a seam on one side of the glass, and work your way around. They come off easily from the clips underneath.
