I am having a **** of a time locating a windshield wiper blade that will work in the 92 EB Bronco. The arms on the truck now have a post or pin (which ever helps describe it better.) it’s a small pin with a head on it. I can not find a replacement blade that will fit that post. I have purchased at least 3 different sets and they are all to wide to fit on the post. they never seat completely over the head of that pin. They almost fit and then when it rains they come right off.
Tbh I am not sure if these are the stick arms or not If not then I will need to replace so that I can just go buy new blades.
Any advise would be helpful.

Maybe someone swapped wiper arms for some goofy reason?

The pin style, like bolt on?
Semi tractors used that style, you won't find them sitting on the rack at your local parts store. Maybe a KW or international dealer could help?

take a pic and upload it so we can be sure what we are looking at.

image.jpgimage.jpgI was finally about to get the photo of what I have installed.
Like I said I have not been able to find a wiper blade that has a thin enough place where the pin come all the way through.

Thank you. I have taken that arm off before and I repainted them because they looked a lot like the one he had. But I just can not find new blades that fit. I am expecting some rain today and I am just going to drive over to a parts store and buy a few. I hop if I tell them what I am doing they will be helpful and let me return the one that do not work.

i also check on rock auto and according to that page the pins are the stock. You can get replacements that are the hook style for a decent cost. If I can’t find some today then I will go the arm replacement route.

I completely forgot about that style, Thanks for the pics.

There are correct adapters in the wiper blade kits but no not all of them work or fit correctly.

Seems like we had to modify the pin on one arm to keep the blade from coming off. Like make the groove wider or something. Long time ago.

Yo 92broncoeb,
I was perusing Apex Body, trim, weatherstrip, windshield wiper, etc Parts and found "

“PLEASE CONTACT US AT 5208899000 IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS NOTE: EARLY ARMS USE A PIN TYPE TIP, PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE GETTING THE CORRECT TYPE..,"

Then I went to Advance Auto:
"Exact Fit for your 1996 Ford BroncoFront; Pin Style

My trip to advanced auto proved fruitful. Although the team at the shop was not much help, I found the

TRICO Exact FitStandard Conventional Wiper Blade, 18 Inch

According to the advanced auto site that’s the only one they have that fits.

Rock auto was also a place to source them.
Thank you all so much for the help. Definitely got me pointed down the right direction.
Now on to figuring out my next Bronco project.

Replace the Driver, Passenger, and rear glass
Replace the shocks
Find good fitting floor mats
Add a keyless entry that will allow me to have a button to lower and, if possible, raise the rear window.
If anyone here has suggestions I am always looking for advise.

Try GREEN SALES in Ohio. Type in the address bar,. For those who have a computer or go use a friends o library . AND watch their videos. They have alot of old new stock and have people their work. That know about parts--without looking on a computer and telling you they don,t have it. They are good people to deal with and fast service and dependable.
