I have an 89 Bronco. Looking at putting some new tires on...Currently running a 31x 10.50r 15 tire but was wondering if I would have any scrubbing issues if I ran with a 33". Currently does not have any type of lift kit. Also, does any body have any tire recommendations. Looking for a tire that will last and has an aggressive look. Thanks for any insight.

I'm runnin a 305/70/16, which pretty much translates to a 33x12.5 on a 16" rim. Only rubbing issues are on the radius arms on a really hard, almost lock turn, and there is a 1" spacer behind the front bumper to push it out. Other than that, no problems at all.

I was thinking of trying 33's.. I don't think there would be rubbing on my truck, I havee a lot of space with my 31's..

Ahhh lemme know how it works and what tire you use!

I have 33x12.5x15 on my 89 f150, only rub on radius arms, I off road this truck, and even with the body torqed enough to keep the doors from opening the tires don't hit my fenders or bumper, I have no shims on it.

I have 33 12.5 r15s only rub on radius arms in very end of turn. If that bugs u get a one inch spacer or 33 10.5s that way it will be thinner. And get bfg mud terrains km2 best long lasting aggressive tire u can get

Had the 33s put on...as most suspected only rubbing is during an almost locked turn. Looks a lot better/ aggressive with the 33" tire.

i have 33's on my truck with no lift. the only rubbing i got was when i turned the wheel all the way left or right. it was just skinning the bottom inside of the bumper so i got a jigsaw and cut off about a half inch on each side . now hitting bumps turning sharp with no problem.
