white somke sometimes black comes out my manafolds

ok i have and 1989 ford b2 dual exhasut and i have noticed that white some somtimes black comes out my exhuast manafolds or manaflold not sure if its coming out my valve covers. it doesnt come out my exhasut pipes at the back of my bronco 2 only around my manafold i think that it is only coming out the dirver side manafold

it eventulay goes away after a little bit of driving.

also i noticed that the brace that hold the pipes to the exhust manad flod on the driver side is half black now?

what could this be is it really bad or just a cracked manafold wat is it?

Sounds like the donut gasket is no longer good and needs to be replaced. Its a easy fix if the bolts are not rusted in place. Spray the bolts down over a few day peroid and then see if you can break them loose. If they snap no worries that would probably happen at the exhaust shop as well. If that happens you will need to pul the exhaust manifold off the motor so you can pull out the broken stud or replace the manifold. Is the exhaust loud or have a clicking sound to it? Might be a good time to pull the manifold anyway since you are that far and have a exhaust shop resurface it so it seals nice to the motor. A new donut gasket and a bit of sand paper will fix the lower leak.

what would happen if i didnt fix it for awhile

Nothing but get louder. You could warp the manifold on these cold days.

well louder is better to me i have glass packs on my dual exuast to make it louder and i gutted the muffler and put it back so when i get pulled over i just point to my muffler and say see officer i have a muffler. I did think it sounded a little louder thanx /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
