ok guys, ive had my 1990 5.8 bronco for almost a year now, the bad news is i haven't gotten a chance to fully enjoy it. ive been in iraq for the past year and now im on my way home and id like some parts to be waiting on me. ive managed to save up 8500 that my wife doesn't know about lol. so ima blow it on the bronco before she can say no. so heres the plan let me know what you guys think. ive already put 32inch super swamper M16's on it, already got a light bar up top. so on with the future plans:

-big gigantic grill with winch and more lights

-fender flares, i have some rust sponts on the rear fender so might as well before it gets to bad

-Eaton Elockers front and rear, question, how hard are these to install haven't had to mess with many diffs

-exhaust-full exhaust system, headers back

-and finally a engine swap, the local ford dealership said they could put in a stock performer from jasper, installed with warranty for 3600, i just want the piece of mind of having a new engine in a 20 year old truck

so ive locked up the price for most of this and it will blow my load lol, so plans for the truck are mostly snow and mud. ok so just let me know what you guys think and what deals you know of right now or any good websites where i can order this stuff ive been shopping around but im used to working on my mustang that i recently sold and its a bit diff shopping for a bronco lol, ok thanks for any input you guys have, later

Yo cajunator!

Welcome Home! Thanks for doing what you do... really appreciate your sacrifice and that of your family.

Let me add my comments to your Qs;

First, do you have $ set aside to take your wife out to a nice place for dinner? and/or get her to a Spa, nails, hair do and maybe a long weekend?

Next is for your Bronco;

ive already put 32inch super swamper M16's on it, already got a light bar up top. so on with the future plans:

For Ford Motorcraft parts (not the junk from China that have the Ford MC pn stamped on em..) I order via AMAZON if possible;

Troy Ford via AMAZON; they are VG at delvy and esp pricing; I bought a $150.00 DPFE Sensor for $50.00 with free shipping and no sales tax; Local dealers wanted 150.0 +

same price & discount for an Idle Air Control (IAC)

Some Ford Motorcraft parts can be ordered on-line & picked up at Advance Auto, etc.; I see some filters, EGRs etc. there.

For a YARD SEARCH on-line, I use;

http://www.mypartshop.com

Select All parts, then FORD TRUCK..etc.

For Emission/PCM, etc part numbers look @ Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) Decal,

for 88 & UP.

On-Line for Free at Ford. Click "Quick Guides" in left panel;

Scroll to & CLICK VECI Labels

"Provides Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) and a related calibration parts list."

Enter applicable info (need to know your Calibration number from your B-pillar sticker).

Vacuum Diagram is the same as the one on the core support or hood or air filter cover.

Do KOEO portion first

For Key On Engine Running (KOER) portion, the engine has to be @ normal operating temp.

I did a small edit.. I have severe Comcast conn issues here; last CC tech looked like a deer in headlights when i showed him a Tech print-out with speeds, and 50 parameter checks; had no clue nor wuld he take the print-out back to the shop and ask ANYONE what it meant or could be used to solve the issues.

Enjoy!
