I have a 1969 Bronco, 3 on the tree with a fresh 302. What carburetor has had the best response on throttle & idle & reliability for a stock 302?

I have always ran the edelbrocks with 100% luck. On Friday night i just swapped in an edelbrock 600 cfm in place of the "new" holley that was on there. Holley would be great if cleaned up and tweeked, i just dont have the time so with the edelbrock its bolt and go.Thanks guys! Now I just need to dial in a model number for a 600 cfm.
Its simple....EdelbrockLooks like I am a little late to the discussion, but for the best basic application, I would stick with the original FoMoCo. If you don't plan on ever taking it off road and this is only a weekend-around-town rig, then I would say Holley or Edelbrock. If you want climbing capabilities, I would say FoMoCo, Edelbrock or Carter, but stay away from Holley if you are building a rock rig. I went through 2 professionally tuned Holley carbs for off road and they both had the same problem. They loaded up on inclines and wouldn't perform in the way that they should. For an off road rig (and like was said before, it is subject to debate) I wouldn't trust a Holley one bit. But on the highway I absolutely loved it.
