Hello Everyone! I am a newbie to the 4x4 world! I want to new tires on my Bronco 2. I have heard all the hype about the roll overs with the Bronco 2's. I am not going to let it scare me. But I do want to get wider tires for more stability when I am on the road and off-roading. I would like to keep the stock rims, but want to go a little bigger, and a litte bit more tread for the off-road. I currently have Wildcat P215/75R15's. Any recommendations are welcomed! Thank You!

my buddy drove the **** ou his b2 with 235-75-15s and it went well for him, wheeld pretty well to, till he wrecked his hubs, if it were my truck, i would get a small lift for it, maybe the 2 inch coil spacer and add a leaf kit, and run 31's, you can usually find 31s used fairly reasonable, but that's me I always go bigger. but my buddy had good luck with the wal-mart 235-75s, like 75 bux a peice at the time, cant remember the exact name, but they were fairly aggressive, and had a 40k tread warranty.

good luck

If you want new(or different, used can be good too) and want off road tires you usually have to sacrifice on-road performance. The reason I say that is because all-terreins may say they work in all terrein(street, mud, snow) but usually have poor performance because they have to work on all surfaces.

I, personally, like the Nitto Mud Grapplers because they aren't as loud as Super Swamper on the road but can do almost as well as Swampers off road. Any time you get tires with lugs as big as the Nittos or Swampers you have tire slap on pavement though, just some tires are louder than others.

If you want bigger tires, you might need a body lift to help keep the body off the wider, taller tire you get. Really though, the only reason to get a bigger tire is to get your front/rear ends/axles higher up and away from rocks and other things to keep from damaging them. The only real reason for a lift is to fit bigger tires under your rig.

I've got Nitto Mud Grapplers 37"x13.5 which is plenty tall and plentyyyy wide. they are great offroad and onroad. the only problem is the 15mm lugs on the sides get caught on my 1992 full size bronco's radius bars. so it rubs some. idk about b2 tho.

I hear Micket Thompson's baja are good. with mickey thompson classic wheels. or my MB Offroad rims
