Ok, i finally took the Bronco on the road to see how it ran with the new motor. It was the first time i've ever driven the truck, period. It actually ran decent. The only thing is if i hit the gas pretty hard from a dead stop (in drive or park) it sputters for a second and revs super duper slow until about 2000 rpm, then it revs normal. I thought at first that it was only doing it while driving, so i was scared it was a tranny or torque converter problem, but it does it in park or neutral too. It almost wants to stall before it revs real slow, then it kicks in like i said. Any ideas?? I'm throwing quite a few codes but none that should make this problem.

Thanks ,

Bryan

yes thats correct, just dont do what so many do and leave the plugged plugged in, it messes it all up, that should do the trick, let us know either way :)>-

yes timing can be tricky, if the truck still doesnt feel right, you can continue to advance a LITTLE bit more, dont go to far or you will hurt the engine by maiking it ping, and you would get a little more power this way, just dont do it too much, just a hair

I did the same thing when I first rebuilt my engine in February. Put the timing exactly bas ackwards. Talk about enough to **** you off. It took one of the older guys to walk down to my house while I had the hood up and such to fix it for me. Man, old people sure know what they're talking about most of the time... b-(
