Cold air mixes with the fuel better, gives you a cleaner and more efficient burn. Sucking in hot engine compartment air is not as efficient for the mix.i read alot of stuff on here about cold air intakes too. whats that all about? my truck seems to run on the hot side of normal. what if i threw a super charger with an intercooler into the mix? sounds bad @$$ and effective for both at the same time. anybody ever done that?
