I have a 77 that was ordered radio delete (never cut for a radio in the dash). I did not want to cut it to install a radio. I installed a Tuffy Security Console. It is very secure and will accomodate most sound systems available today. It is also a very secure storage area for a few personal items. Although it is not original to the Bronco, it is very secure and functional. You may want to consider one for yours. I had another 77 with a factory AM radio, and installed one of these also. I rarely listened to the stock radio, but it looked great in the dash, worked great, and in the console I have all the tunes (+ iPod, and Bluetooth) I want. Good Luck!
