Is there a special fitting needed to put on a grease gun for getting to the ******* on greasable ujoints or will the standard one work?

And any specific grease that anyone recommends, is moly wheel bearing OK?

thanks

usually just a regular grease gun works for me,and you can get the grease from any auto parts store, wal mart, etc....basically any automotive section, personally i use the synthetic grease....good luck

The only one I know of that can be tricky, is the one in the double carden joint just behind the transmission. A friend mechanic of mine made a special fitting to get on it. If I remeber right, he uses a piece of tubing with a flare on it and holds it tignt on the fitting while pumping, of course he has trigger type grease gun hooked up to a compressor.

Some manufacturer U-joints are sealed and don't have grease fittings.

Good luck,

:)>-
