Well the best would be to use a Dana 60, but they are hard to find and require alot of mods.

I had a 81 ford F-150 stepsode tha I converted to solid axle and had 12 inches of susenpsion lift. Here is a list of part.

all of these are from a 77-79 4X4

dana 44 front axle

track bar (panhard bar) and bracket (drop if you can get it)

lift springs

spring cups

radius arms

drop radius arm brackets

drag link from both the truck you have and a 77-79 (so you can use your stock steering box.

Best thing to do is get a donor truck to steal everything off then you would only have to buy lift springs, drop panhard bar bracket and drop radius arm mounts. Plus you can steal the 9 inch out of the back too. If you want a full 12 inches then drop the spring towers down 3 inches.

hope this helps

awesome...i think thats what i will do..one more thing..my windsor has 160,000 miles on it but it still cranks with no problem and idles fine...whoever had it before me put a aftermarket oil pressure guage on...when i start the truck and get down the road the guage reads 25 psi but over the next ten miles or so itll drop down to 2 or 3 psi...real sluggish..i put a new oil pump on but its still the same...should i just go ahead and rebuild the engine?and if anyone knows where i can buy a stout 8 or 10 point roll cage id appreciate it....or are most of them just fabricated?thank you..

not to direct you away from this site, but wander on over to www.fullsizebronco.com, and go to the forum. there is a reason you keep seing that name pop up on here. it is probably the BEST website dedicated strictly to fullsize broncos when it comes to tech info and modification writeups. i will tell you, however, use the search function as much as you can. even though the site is only around 2 years old, there is enough tech in there to keep you reading for a week straight. i gurantee you will find the answers you are looking for.
