Trying to identify a motor block

I recently bought a 1973 Bronco that has had the engine replaced.

The block has a "KF" stamped on it. What year 302 is this?

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think just the 2 letters are not enough for year identification. You need something more like D4DE, with 4 caracters.

Ya., the #'s aren't stamped...they're imbossed just behind the starter.

Also, If the eng. was kept complete (stock) the # (if not mistaking) should be on the intake man. as well.
