got a 1990 ford bronco xlt 5.0

going down the road one day and the transmission fluid line becomes undone and drains all the fluid while im driving. basically i drove it till it couldnt move anymore.

i put the fluid back in and it works barely.

when driving in the mountains it has a hard time shifting and even on flat ground when im gassin.

also when im at a stop sign and i hit the gas hard the tires will jump or chatter but it wont burn out.

i think its a burnt clutch but not sure.

any ideas?

thanks

I'm surprised it still works at all, that certainly didn't do it any good.  Sounds like you need to take it to a transmission shop or get another one to put into it.
