Hey I have a 93 Bronco 5.8L with E4OD transmission, and its leaking tranny fluid threw the bell housing especially when I get on the gas, I believe its the tranny pump seal. I was wondering if anyone here would be able to tell me how to get to this seal and change it. Thanks Pedro

Welcome to Bronco Zone. To change the front seal on the tranny, you will have to remove the tranny and take out the torque converter. It may be possible to change the seal without removing the front input shaft, but it normally takes disassmbly of the tranny. The seal doesn't cost much, but the shop labor will run about $400. JSM84

If you only replace the front pump seal make sure u put lock tight the red stuff i dont know y but my boss that has been rebuilting trannys for 30 yrs and he does it on every rebuild. hope that helps
