will a manual trans bolt up to a automatic transfer-case??? need to know if they wil work to gether cause i wana keep the push button 4X4.

also the engine computer controls the transmission right?? how will the computer/engine, act with out the dogamatic transmission anymore. still driveable i hope lol.

Yes the T case will bolt to the manual tranny they never really changed thier T case bolt pattern . As for the computer no it wont work with a stick especially if it was from an E4OD . The EEC relies on a speed sensor in the tranny for timing and fuel curve selection . Also I do believe that the curves are different between a manual and an auto . Best bet is to start looking for a computer from one that had a stick . I have one but it had a 300 6 infront of it with a manual tranny . /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

k thanks. will an f-150 or 250 work as long as it was a stick?? and do i need to change the wiring harness for the new ecu to fit?? thanks again.

The computer from one of them should work just have to have the correct motor tranny combo . The harness you have should plug right in might have to move a couple wires around though so double check a wiring diagram before you power it up /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />
