Transfer Case

I have 1973 bronco with 351w/c4.

My question is where would the seal be that needs replacing?

automatic transmission fluid leaks past the seal and into the transfer case. is it in the transfer case or the transmission and can it be changed by separating the case from trans far enough without removing totally?

Its most likely the seal between the tranny and adapter to the dana 20. You won't need to pull the tranny just the T-case and adapter. Not to tough
