Does anybody know where I can get an aluminum pan for and AOD 4wheel drive. All the ones summit sell are not for 4 wheel drive units. The stock is already a deep pan. I just want the extra cooling feature.

It might be easier and less expensive to install a transmission oil cooler infront of your radiator. I did that and it greatly improved my engine temp. Before it would start to get pretty hot when setting still or on very hot summer days. Since adding a cooler, it has been rock solid at the normal running temp in all conditions. I have let it set and idle for over an hour and the temp never gets above 1/4 scale on the gague. Before, it would nortmally run in the mid range of the gague and aproach the top end if the truck was setting too long, and that was with an oversize radiator to start with.

I now have to keep an eye on it in the winter to keep it from running too cool, like a hotter tstat and reducing the air flow thru the radiator if it gets extreemly cold.

Good luck,

:)>-

I have a cooler in front of the radiator. and its not that tiny stock one. I got rid of that a long time ago. I was just trying to help the trans out a little more.
