I want to put in a carburated 351 winsor in place of my 302 efi. I know that I'll need a seperate controller for my auto transmission, but don't know where to find one. I've asked around some local shop and none of them have came up with anything. Does anyone have any advise or experiences with a swap from efi to carb?

What yr do you have ? Is it an AOD or an E4OD ? If it is an AOD there is no controller if its an E4OD there is a company called Baumann Engineering they have a complete stand alone controller that you program with a computer , It gives you complete control over the tranny shift points and line pressures . It cost $425 :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

I have an 89 bronco with the stock transmission, I see that they introduced the E4OD in 89'. So, is it safe to assume that's what I have?

My 89 had an AOD . Best way to tell is everyone of the E4OD,s had an overdrive cancel button because there electronic you can shut off the OD , On 89 to 91 vehicles with an E4OD there will be a button on the dash to the right of the steering wheel that says OD that is the OD cancel button , On all 92 and up with the E4OD there will be a button in the end of the shifter that is the OD cancel button . If you have that button you have an E4OD assuming no one has swapped it out . :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

My 89 has an AOD. I have a 91 F-150 that I'm stipping down. It has the cancel button to the right of the steering wheel, so the swap is still possible. Thanks for your posts!
