hi guys , i'm new to the site not the bronco i've had it for about 4 or 5 yrs and all of a sudden i started having a problem with the tranny . sometimes (a lot ) when it warms up it doesn't want to go into gear unless you rev the engine and sometimes it does it when you stop it'll act the same way and you have to rev it and it'll pop in gear mostly once its warmed up every now and then it'll do it when i first get in it . it kind of acts like you have to pull the tv cable with the throttle to make it go in gear .. any help would be appreciated ..

thanks for your time daniel

i think i may have posted in the wrong section if so please move it ..

It sounds like your pretty much screwed! Ive had people come into the shop with high miles on their trans and never had a trans flush AND people that have their trans slipping and want a trans flush,,,And what we end up telling them is ,,Hey there might be a chance that once we do this your trans wont work right or at all any more....It seems to be that when you do the flush it washes away all the varnish and junk thats in the trans keeping all the tolerances tight...Once you wash that out now all the shit that was keeping it together is gone....So time for a rebuild. You can always take it to a trans shop but you know thats what they are in business for,,to sell you a trans,,,Hope its just something stupid but this is what ive come across over the years,,,Goood luck,, :D /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

Oh ok I thought you had the flush done then it started...The only other thing I can think of now is that maybe the pump isnt putting enough pressure out for the trans.Thats why when you rev it up or pull on the cable it kicks the pressure up and it gets you moving.Unless something in your valve body is loose letting pressure leak out internally.I dont know. For me it was always I blew the trans somehow and needed a new one or rebuild..And like 50JOE said ,thats the symptoms of low fluid,But you said your not low which would lead me to think its on its way out...
