total inches of lift you can fit under a 78 bronco

I have a 78' Bronco with a 429 engine, 9" suspencion 3" body lift. It is yellow with a black soft top, custom build bumpbers and black rims with a set of 40x17 Ground Hawgs. I am in the process of putting a set of Dana 60's under it keeping the coil spring set up that i have now. I would like to put 12" supspension under it. Does anybody know where i can get a set of 12" coil springs for the lift?

youll probably have to do somethin about driveshaft bind but you might be able to lower your coil buckets 3" and make a new crossmember and drop brackets and run your 9" coils to get 12" suspension lift. somethin that big you should go with some longer radius arms or a 4 link. why you goin so tall anyway with 40s?

Why so high? I have a 78 with 38.5 x 15 ground hawgs 4" suspensio lift and a 3" body lift and have plenty of room. Something that tall doesnt sound too safe to drive.

Why so hi? I want to put 44's under it and i like plenty of clearance between my tires and fender wells, i don't like my tires stuffed up under them. **** I might even slap those 49's under there if i can get the room.

i bet with enough fender trimming and a 6" suspension you could fit 44s. unless you only drive on flat ground goin that big will probably just hurt you.

i run 44 boggers with 9'' coils up front, 6'' leafs in the back with an add-a-leaf and got the bushwacker cut-out flares and have no clearance problems. love those flares too. i just mud with the truck so when its in a hole i can leave the windows down and dont get a face full of slop and wreck the interior. i had the truck on 46'' baja's too for a little while and they cleared too but i didnt like the tires and they rubbed when i flexed so i went back to 44's. oh yeah i dont use a body lift either
