Can i remove the top from the drivers cab of a 84 bronco and still keep the windshield?

Not recommended, but it is your truck. I assume that rain getting inside the truck is not a concern for you.

If you cut it off the cab roof, you remove any rollover protection the A and B posts provide, not that that is all that much. If you do that, I would definitely recommend a roll cage.

yes. I know I can tack off the back portion, but I wasnt sure if the remaining section over the drivers cab was designed to come off or not.

Rain is not an issue and will never put the doors or top back on the truck

Hey Bull,

Without the cab roof and the doors the cab is extreemly compromised structurally. The vehicle would then be acceptable for offroad use only. As Seabronc suggested, A roll cage is essential at that point. It would be minimal protection.

A proper rollcage bolted to the frame and welded to the cab in the upper areas could be the thing that saves your life.
