All right guys i have a rebuilt 302 w/ new edle 600cfm carb and dual plain performer intake. I have been told get a cam, try hotter plugs and coil, and 1 fella even told me to put smaller jets in the carb, dont know what he was thinking :lol:

Yes, a mild camshaft would help you with the intake and carb combo you have. Look at Edelbrocks catalog, as they have the parts matched for performance. If you don't have a catalog, post up the part number on the intake and the carb.

Check out Comp Cams Xtreme 4x4 cams. Got one in my BB and it does have a "violent midrange". :blink:

Just another mod to think about is headers or higher compression pistons.
