I hear what you're saying, man. I've got a 79 Bronco with 38x10.5x15 Super Swamper TSL's. Instead of lifting it, however, I did some fender cutting to save a few bucks. I run mine through the mud alot and it hasn't really let me down yet.

I have 9" superlift and it's plenty. i've seen a guy running with the 6" but it was not really trail capable. the 9 and 6" aren't gonna flex much but i dunno if you want yours to or not. I've had my left front over 6' off the ground and little if any front suspension flex. but thats not what i built it for, that's why i have a buggy. lol could some of yall help me here? the 250 guy said something about a high boy. the frame i'm using for one of my projects is a '66 250 and i thought that was the last yr of the 'high boy'.

I don't know if lifts are always the way to go. Mine doesn't have a lift and it's a mud slinging monster, hence my screen name.

i run a 6'' suspension lift and no body lift with cut out fender flares. i run 39.5 boggers with a 15x12 rim and a 2.5'' backspace. i trimmed 2'' off the front part of the front fenders and can flex without rubbing, turn lock to lock without rubbing, and clear my radius arms while at lock under full suspension compression. i absolutely love this setup
