Does anyone have a timing mark like this? ive never set timing on one that only has a point. im guessing thats 0 but im not sure. And does anyone know what i should set mine to? its a 351m with stock ignition, a mild cam, dual plane low rise intake, and a 4 bbl 600 carb.

Can't see the number's on the balancer. When the hash mark's line up with the pointer that where the timing is at. Try and set it at 8 BTDC or in that area. All motor's are different you'll have to play with it.

do you know how to set your timing at TDC (top dead center) ? do that and then just slowly adjust from there, you wont need to use the timing mark, thats how i set mine, just make sure you dont advance it and make it pinp, thats very very bad for your engine
