through the firewall

How do you get wires like an amp wire for instance from the inside of the truck and through the firewall on a 92' bronco?

I'm no expert but when ever I have installed stereo equip I always find an existing grommet where other wires are going thru and find a way to go thru with other wires or puncture next to other wires. I have done this with 4 vehicles including my 97 expedition. Not a Bronco though. so I don't know of a specific location on a 92 bronco.

Definatelly find an area where other wires are coming through. If they don't fit drill a hole within a 1/2" away and add some round rubber gromets so the metal doesn't cratch the wires insulation and short out. Look at the other side just to make sure nothing is in the way. Don't just drill where ever you want, I did this but with a self tapper ***** and it caused a weird Buzz sound. @-) I must have drilled into something electrical, as soon as I pulled out the ***** the noise went away. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

The best place to drill is near where the steering wheel goes through, 3-5 in to the right if your drilling through from the cab. Thats just my experience in my 92 though.

Yeah i had very little things actually going through my sterring wheel boot but i wanted a hole closer to the battery so im not running wires all over the place.
