Think I blew an Exhaust Gasket

I was going down the highway today and I decided to floor it to see how fast it would go. All of a sudden I hear a loud hissing noise, so I let off the pedal, now the truck sounds like I have a Flowmaster. I like the sound but don't want to drive unless the window is down incase the fumes are coming in.

hmm, you may have blew out the collector gasket (donut gasket)....usually they sound like crap when that happens...u sure you just didnt loose your muffler haha

Didn't see it on the highway ) . I think I did blow out the donut. The damn bolts are so rusted under there it'll be **** to fix it. I was looking under there and found out that my cat is being held up there by balling wire. :huh:

may have shot the hose or tube off of the cat or for that matter sure you didnt grenade the muffler internally?

I'm sure the most noise is coming from the front of the truck and there is less exhaust coming out of the tail pipe.

My dount gasket it went out a 6months ago and it mad my dual exuast sound louder just like i like its not a bad thing for the duount gasket to not be repalced!!
