I was thinking about removing the top of my 86 bronco but I was worried about when i put it on again if it would leak. Any advice?

If it is put back on properly it shouldn't be a problem. However, if the seals are old, you might want to think about getting a new set as this would be a good time to replace them. A good suggestion when putting it back on, no matter if with the old or new seals, is to put a light coating of silicone grease on them or the surface they go against, to help seal and make movement of the top along the sides easier. That will also extend the life of rubber seals.

Good luck,

I was wondering if i took my top off the bronco that it would decrease the value of the truck or so i have been told by other people, so I was wondering if that was true?

that would be like saying that if you open the moon roof of a vehicle it will decrease its value. It is designed to be removed just make sure the rear window is DOWN first and dont drop the top. I always place mine on a couple of 2x4s.
