When I want to locate a part, I usually go to autozone.com and see what a replacement part looks like.

It should be on the front of your engine, driver's side.

Yes, AutoZone.com has a great tech library for find part location. The temp sender on your 87 should be on top of the intake manifold, next or close to the distributor on the front. You may get confused with the air intake temp sensor, which is behind the dist. You might also check out Miesk5's Homepage of bronco links for info.
