Tcase torque problem

I swaped out tcases this morning and after I put the new one in I swaped the yokes over, The torque on these is 225-250 I believe, My torque wrench only goes to 150, having spent all my $$ on new dash, centech harness, gauges and some other small stuff I dont have the case for a bigger tq wrench. So I torqued them down to 150 then I put my breaker bar on the tighten them as much as I could, I only got an 1/4 turn past 150ftlbs and I started turning the engine over. Do you think that 175ish foot lbs is enough??
