Will the orignal tire mount on a 95 Eddie Bauer hold a 35x12.5x15 Procomp X-terain on a Eagle Alloy Rim??It looks great!!I just don't know if it is to much weight?? It pulls the tailgate in the top right corner by the window alittle bit.

I think it will be okay the hinges are really tough. but the main thing to worry about is are you going to be able to see. i need spare but i dont wanna put a 37" tire on the back

I can see fine....It doesn't even squeek...it just seems really heavy compared to the other spare

I believe others had said not to go over a 33 because of the weight, but I think it will depend on what you will be doing. If you are just doing normal driving then it may be ok but if you start hitting some big bumps then it may break some stuff. I have seen some custom made ones that are mounted on the bumper instead of the body itself. I would be careful.
