Here's a diagram from a Borg-Warner 13-56 t-case:

The bushings inside the shift rod don't have a part no, and I'm almost certain that this item is "discontinued" from Ford. Best option is to swap out the rod or the nylon bushings from another used part. I haven't tried it, but you may also be able to use the same bushings that are found in the transmission column shift linkage assembly. JSM84

Whats the easiest way to get the bushings out?

If I get them from a junk yard.

Never been able to do that with out destroying the bushings.

the 7341 portion of the number sounds like the ones for the transmission shift linkage, and they may be referred to as "isolators" or "grommets". $20 sounds outrageous, but so does $10 for a single brake hose clip (long story). I've been able to remove these with a couple of small screwdrivers, carefully pushing the edge into the hole until the "isolator" comes out. This can be done if just one is bad, but it's easier to replace the whole shift rod or bar with another used one. A complete shifter and linkage set-up runs about $40-$50 at a salvage yard, but you might get it for less from someone parting out a Bronco or F-series truck. If you do go this route, try to get the shift select lever that bolts onto the t-case. That part is definitely obsolete from Ford.

Thanks

So the ones from ford should work just tore apart my old trans linkage same isolators as T-case shifter

I had to do some custom linkage swapped in an AOD from an E40D (had electrical problems rewiring bronco long story)

just hard to believe the ford parts doesnt know that much about there own vehicles, fords last along time but you cant find the parts

Thanks JSM84 you've been a big help

No worries, my local Ford parts man told me to stop coming in for parts, and quit wasting his time. But I still go in from time to time, and ask the new guy to look up the little clip that holds the brake line at the frame. That's the $10 part that you can't get from Ford anymore, but is only like $2 for a set from JBG.

Now that I think about it some more, last time I looked you had to buy the whole shifter linkage assembly, with the bar and mounting bracket. I was trying to replace the big isolator/bushing where the linkage mounts to the tranny.
