Strange bow in fuel system

While traceing wires I found a wire pugged into the fuse box that I traced to a small frame mounted box on the Drivers side about half way back. I unplugged the wire the vehicle ran a bit then stalled and would not start. Plugged it back in started right up. checked the Chiltons manual no information in there. Anyone know what this would be and if so where should it be connected too. lloks like the fule lines go through it? :eek: /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" width="20" height="20" />

With what info i read it sounds like an after market fuel pump or some thing to that effect

It is an after market fuel pump anyone know why they would do this is it to keep up with the four barrell edelbrock carb and manifold or just easier to change. b-(

Bet its an inline fuel pump.from the mountain.hillbilly
