I just dropped in a staright dana 44 in my 85 ttb bronco. its got 3" suspension 3" body and custom steering from bulletproof steering .com. the drive shaft when attached to the new axel hits the headers. I have cheap hedmund headers paint is for shipping only kinda product. I'm looking for a header that will clear my new drive shaft line. if all else fails I can buy some JBA shories but thats a lot of exhaust patch work i dont want to do. can anyone help? thanks

Unless you go down the passenger side, you need atleast a 4" body lift to clear your transfer case. Going under it would make it hang down too low and catch on things when off road.

Good luck,

:)>-

My Buddy has just done the same thing and had the same problem. He went out and got shorty headers for an 80 something mustang with out the steering arm bends in the tubes for easy smoothe flowing headers. just extended his pipes and no problems
